What happens on the catamaran cruise
After pick-up you board at the Bávaro marina. The first leg sails to the coral shelf where the crew hands out masks and fins for a guided snorkel over reef fish and sea fans.
The boat then anchors at the natural pool — a sandbar where the water is waist deep and the sea turns turquoise. The open bar opens here and stays open for the sail back along the resort coastline.
Catamaran or party boat — is it the same tour?
Yes, it is the same vessel and route. We call it a party boat when the emphasis is the music and open bar, and a catamaran cruise when travellers care most about snorkeling and the sandbar. Families and couples book the same departure comfortably.
Best time of day to sail
Morning departures have calmer water and better snorkeling visibility. Afternoon departures have the livelier atmosphere and warmer air. Both include the same stops.
