About this experience
This adventurous, self-driving off-road tour on specially built Dune Buggies and ATVs follows a route designed to show you the interior of this beautiful tropical island, from its lush nature to its humble, welcoming people. Crossing narrow trails through exotic landscapes and small villages, the ride takes you to the impressive Cenote Cave "El Hoyo", where you can cool down in a freshwater underground spring. Next, you visit a local farmer's house to discover the most typical products of Dominican agriculture: coffee, cacao and tobacco. Saving the best for last, you drive to beautiful Macao Beach to enjoy its crystal-clear waters or simply relax beneath a palm tree. During school season you may also visit a rural elementary school sponsored by this tour.
